A number of suppliers and operators have rolled out iGaming content this week, with the likes of Microgaming, Play’n GO, Habanero, Genesis Gaming and Plumbee debuting new slot titles.

Microgaming has announced the release of two new titles in February, with Dragon Dance and Bikini Party to launch simultaneously on mobile and desktop platforms.

Each game comes with cross-platform free games and in-game achievements to be unlocked, with Dragon Dance launching in time for the 2016 Chinese New Year on February 8th. The five-reel game offers 243 ways to win, and features colourful imagery such as lion costumes and dancing dragons.

It offers players up to 15 free spins when three or more scatter symbols appear on the reels, turing the background purple – a colour associated with positivity in Chinese culture. Free spins can be re-triggered, with wins tripled during this period.

Dragon Dance will be followed by Bikini Party, a game based around beach volleyball. It comes with a pop soundtrack, allows users to win up to 60,000 credits during the free spins feature.

“Our February game add-on shows our continued commitment to deliver dual-release games, enabling players to be entertained wherever they decide to play and on whichever device they choose,” Microgaming head of product channels Neill Whyte commented.

Both games will launch on download, Flash and for mobile devices for Microgaming and Quickfire clients on February 3rd.

Genesis Gaming

Slot development studio Genesis Gaming has launched its Clash of Queens simultaneously on Flash and HTML5 via Microgaming’s Quickfire network.

The game is available from February 3rd and features a range of characters from Lewis Carroll’s classic Alice in Wonderland such as Tweedle Dum and Tweedle Dee, the Red Queen and the White Queen.

It comes with a special bonus round, triggered by three scatter symbols, which transports players through the looking glass to a chessboard on which the two queens do battle.

Players select a queen based on the bonus feature they would like to experience, with the winning queen unlocking a range of special bonuses. The Red Queen can award up to eight free spins with four random wild reels and a free spins re-trigger, while the White Queen awards a pick feature that doubles prize values.

“Players are increasingly seeking new game play experiences,” Genesis’ director of European sales James Watson explained. “We took the two most popular bonus features, and allowed the player to choose their favourite way of winning. Players can win how they want to win.”

Social casino studio Plumbee has launched the latest slot from its in-house development studio, with Riches of Egypt now live on its Mirrorball Slots app.

The five-reel, 50-line slot is based in Ancient Egypt, and features Wild Sarcophagus symbols that expand to fill the entire reel, offering players even bigger wins. The game also comes with the Hot Mode Free Spins feature, a special variant on the standard slot game element.

“Our mission is to offer innovative, social and entertaining digital casino experiences to players across all platforms, and to do that our content needs to be constantly evolving in exciting new ways,” head of Plumbee’s in-house slots production team Mark Claxton commented.

“Riches of Egypt is a stunning game and a real treat for fans of Mirrorball Slots, but just as importantly it reflects our desire to constantly innovate and engage.”

Play’n GO

Swedish developer Play’n GO is transporting players to Rio de Janeiro with the launch of its new slot Samba Carnival.

The game comes with high-definition animation and smooth performance across all channels, it allows players to seek out musical maracas, which act as the game’s Wild symbol, shaking out winning combinations for wins of up to five times their ordinary value.

Samba Carnival’s Bongo Bonus Round is triggered by three sets of drums appearing anywhere on the reels, with players able to win up to 150 times their original bet.

“With exotic fruit, feathers and eye-catching fashion, Samba Carnival will bring players to the centre of Rio’s most exciting party,” Play’n GO chief operating offier Mrtin Zettergren commented.

“Our newest slot has best-in-class graphics, sounds, and animation and we can’t wait to see players samba their way to success.”

Habanero has released Ruffled Up, a new title featuring brightly coloured birds, that tweaks the standard spinning reel format.

The birds flutter on and off an old-fashioned telegraph wire rather than appearing on spinning reels, with the background changes and the story unfolds.

A new lighting feature is triggered by three or more Stormbringer birds, with lighting randomly striking the other birds to offer additional payouts.

“We’re very excited about Ruffled up, which we’ll be demonstrating at ICE next week. It’s quite a different game compared to others on the market at the moment,” Habanero chief executive Nic Ioannoy said.

“As with all our content, it is developed in HTML5 to give a seamless experience across desktop, tablet, and mobile. Thanks to optimised coding, it still manages to cram in stunning visuals and 39 different sound files - approximately twice that of typical games.”
