This week has seen the release of new gaming and lottery content from the likes of Inspired, Genesis Gaming, Microgaming, Commologic, Easter Island, Magnet Gaming, Pariplay, World Match, and Pollard Banknote.
Genesis will release a new multi-level video slot game based on the famed Greek legend of the adventures of Jason and the Argonauts.
Jason's Quest combines cinematic storytelling, engaging fun, and multiple levels. The 5 reel, 25-line video slot game was designed in HTML5 for optimal play experiences on both desktop computers and mobile devices at the same time.
Multiple levels of game play are made possible by a proprietary Genesis game mechanic called Graduated Features, which allows players to unlock new features with game play over time, changing both the game play and opportunities to win. Players collect tokens in order to unlock features and increase the Return-to-Player (RTP) of the game. The tokens enable three different levels, and each subsequent level offers new features.
“Jason's Quest showcases our commitment to extending the player experience with a game,” said Geoffrey Hansen, managing director of Genesis Gaming. “In particular, we wanted to leverage the levelling up element common in the social and video games enjoyed by millennials.”
Jason’s Quest will be available in April on Quickfire and Relax platforms.
Microgaming has signed a licensing agreement with Universal Brand Development to develop a new slot based on Jurassic World.
Released last summer, Jurassic World tore onto cinema screens 22 years after the original Jurassic Park film. It had the second-biggest worldwide opening weekend in history and is currently the fourth-highest-grossing movie of all time.
Microgaming will create an online slot based on the blockbuster film. This is in addition to the Jurassic Park franchise deal that was announced in January 2014 and resulted in the Jurassic Park online slot that was released in August of the same year.
Meanwhile, Microgaming’s Quickfire has signed a content supply deal with Rank’s Grosvenor Casinos and Mecca brands.
Taking both desktop and mobile content, Rank will gain access to a catalogue of over 500 games, as well as content from over 20 development partners.
“Intent on upholding our position as leaders in the UK market, signing for Quickfire was a must,” said Cíara Nic Liam, head of casino and games at Rank Group. “It’s important we have the most impressive and extensive game portfolio for our astute player base, and that means bringing Microgaming’s grand collection on board.”

Inspired has rolled out five new HTML5 games through its Virgo RGS platform with major operators including bet365, Gala Coral and William Hill.
The fives games to go live are Rise of Anubis, The Guardians, Spirit of the Samurai, Super Hot Fruits and I ♥ Puppies.
Rise of Anubis is a Free Spins bonus game with Super Wilds which has a familiar Egyptian theme, but with an added edge. The Anubis uses his laser eyes to turn symbols wild in the bonus game and the more laser action, the higher the wins.
The Guardians features Super Stack Symbols and Inspired’s new Wonder Spins, which gives additional wild reels with each losing spin. The four Fortune Bet levels also allow players to stake up to increase the height of the scatters and gain more wins.

The Isle of Man-based gaming software has announced the launch of online slot Black Widow, which is based on the iconic Atari Interactive arcade game.
The new Black Widow slot developed by Pariplay’s in-house development studio is the first title to be launched under the Atari partnership.
The original Atari video arcade game Black Widow was released in 1982 and involved players manoeuvring the eponymous spider around its web while shooting various insects to win bonuses. Instead of winning bonus points and shooting beetles, mosquitoes and hornets, Pariplay’s 5-reel, 3-line Black Widow slot allows players to win real money by taking a simple spin in a sophisticated online casino setting.

Commologic has signed a deal to provide Unibet with BetUP, an innovative live betting game that appeals to casual sports fans.
BetUP combines different gaming genres into a second-screen, live sports betting experience and will be available on Unibet’s desktop, mobile and tablet channels.

Dutch slots supplier Easter Island Studios has rolled out a new game based on the infamous Hatton Garden raid.
The London Heist, a five reel game with 30 win lines, is released a year after the perpetrators almost got away with looting £14m worth of valuables in Britain’s biggest burglary.

The London Heist follows the have-a-go anti-heroes down the lift-shaft and through the wall of the safety deposit company in search of other people’s valuables. Habanero has struck a deal to integrate its gaming content to casino brands through live dealer supplier Asia Gaming.
The agreement will see a range of slot, table game, and video poker titles go live on sites across Asia, including a host of new games currently in development.
Daniel Long, head of sales at Habanero, said the partnership was strategically important to the company and would provide huge growth opportunities in the New Year.
