This week saw a range of slot titles from NetEnt and NYX Gaming go live with PokerStars in New Jersey, new deals for Play’n GO and Felt Gaming, and slot releases from Habanero, Yggdrasil, NetEnt and World Match.
The return of PokerStars to the US iGaming market earlier this week saw a selection of NetEnt’s desktop and mobile games go live with the operator. It follows the recent signing of a partnership between NetEnt and PokerStars owner Amaya.
NetEnt has received a transactional waiver from the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement to launch online games with PokerStars.
“We are really thrilled to be live with a selection of our award-winning desktop and mobile games through PokerStars in New Jersey,” said Björn Krantz, managing director of NetEnt Americas. “I am confident that our portfolio offering will support their strategy to build sustainable long-term digital casino growth in New Jersey.”
NetEnt has also released its latest new slot, Aloha: Cluster Pays, based on the "sun-kissed beaches and fiery volcanoes of Hawaii".
Aloha is the first of NetEnt’s games to feature its unique ‘cluster pays’ mechanic, which gives players the chance to increase payouts by growing the size of their cluster of winning symbols. The game includes ‘Sticky Win’ re-spins, substitution symbols and symbol drop features.
Simon Hammon, chief product officer of NetEnt, commented: “NetEnt has delivered another memorable slot which stands out thanks to an unforgettable theme and our usual high-quality designs.
“Add in NetEnt’s unique cluster mechanic, which gives users the chance to win big, and our players could be doing the hula all the way to the bank.”
NYX Gaming's slots also launched with PokerStars, the first in a series of planned releases which will provide the operator’s customers with access to a wealth of titles from NYX's proprietary games studio NextGen.
"It's great to see PokerStars launching in New Jersey with over 20 titles from our studio NextGen,” said NYX Gaming Group CEO Matt Davey. “This is part of the six-year licensing agreement with Amaya that we signed in Q3 2015 which includes a minimum annual payment of CAD$12.0 million to NYX for the first three years."
Sam Hobcraft, director of casino at PokerStars said: "NextGen slots have proven to be very popular with our customers in Europe and so we are delighted to be able to offer these games in New Jersey."
Included in the initial launch list are titles such as Judge Dredd, Irish Eyes 2, DC Comics' King Kong – Island of Skull Mountain and An Evening With Holly Madison.
"We're delighted to announce our go-live in New Jersey with Poker Stars, who complement a roster of premium, regulated operators licensing content via NYX,” said NYX Gaming’s commercial director David Johnson. “With over 650 games and 170 customers worldwide, NYX Gaming Group boasts the widest distribution network of real money wagering slots games in the industry."
Specialist table game supplier Felt Gaming has launched a number of its proprietary games with online operator Betsson. Eleven titles have gone live on Betsson.com, Betsafe.com, and Oranjecasino.com.
The portfolio consists of seven blackjack side bet games, including Perfect Pairs, 21+3 and Lucky Lucky; three poker variants, and Felt’s Double Ball Roulette. All of these games are popular in the US and Canadian land-based market.
John Parsonage, Felt’s CEO and former head of casino at Sky Bet, said the deal had been driven by increasing demand for stimulating table games that provide multiple betting features and big win opportunities.
“We’re delighted to launch our initial suite of 11 games with Betsson, who are among the most innovative online operators in the sportsbook and casino market,” said Parsonage. “Their strong table games user base, and desire to provide their customers with unique content makes them a perfect fit for us.
“These games are proven performers in the highly-competitive and challenging bricks and mortar environment and we’re certain that they will be a big hit for Betsson on mobile and desktop devices.”
Play’n GO’s full suite of premium mobile and desktop content has gone live with Gala Coral’s Eurobet brand in Italy.
Eurobet will broaden its content offering to players with titles such as Gemix, Jewel Box, Lady of Fortune and Energoonz.
The content roll out follows Play’n GO’s completion of the Italian certification process for its full portfolio of titles.
“We are delighted to have our content go live with Eurobet and can’t wait to see all of Italy delight in our innovative, premium content,” said Play’n GO CEO Johan Tornqvist. “Italy is a tremendously important market for us, and we’ve laboured hard and long over a period of months to provide partners like Eurobet with everything they need to ensure success. It’s just the start of our relationship but we’re certain it will bear fruit for many years to come.”
Alfredo Melloni, head of gaming at Eurobet, added: “Play’n GO’s games are of the highest quality and we’re excited to be able to offer our players their full suite of content, be they mobile or desktop based.
“Eurobet has a commitment to excellence running through our veins and we’re pleased to have a partner like Play’n GO who shares our ideals. I’m sure this is just the start of a long relationship.”
