With Euro 2016 kicking off in Paris later today, a number of suppliers have been getting in on the action with new football-themed games rolled out by the likes of XIN Gaming, Genesis Gaming, and Yggdrasil.

The past few weeks have already seen a number of football-themed games go live ahead of Euro 2016, including a virtual football game from Inspired, daily fantasy football games from Oulala.com and Fanto, a new slot from Realistic Games for BetVictor’s The Million Pound Goal promo, Colossus Bets pools for Betclic and Expekt, and a Camelot-powered app from Switzerland’s Loterie Romande.

As well as these new releases, this week has also seen a title released by Loto-Quebec, gaming content partnerships involving iSoftBet and Pariplay, as well as a new poker game from Connective Games.

Yggdrasil Gaming

Yggdrasil has released its latest slot which is a Euro 2016 themed offering. Bicicleta is named after the iconic bicycle kick, and will launch with a half-time network campaign which will see the provider sponsor a €10,000 prize pool.

The new slot includes a new trophy feature and a football match atmosphere with the crowd reacting directly to in-game action. Meanwhile in the free spin mode, players execute acrobatic bicycle kicks which turn into sticky wilds whenever a goal is scored. The medium variance slot also offers the chance to win up to 24 free spins, with extra free spins, coins and wild reels up for grabs during the trophy feature.

During the 15-minute half-time break, any spin on Bicicleta can result in a direct cash prize, with players able to win up to €1,000 of the Yggdrasil-provided €10,000 prize pool. From June 11th, the tool will be available for operators to run their own Cash Races for Bicicleta and seven other Yggdrasil releases.

Bicicleta is supported by Yggdrasil’s newest BOOST promotional tool, Cash Race, which allows operators to define a period during which any spin can be awarded with a mystery prize from the operator’s prize pool.

Genesis Gaming

Genesis Gaming has released its latest video slot to coincide with the beginning of tournament.

Euro Golden Cup has been rolled out across multiple platforms, developed in HTML5 for desktop and mobile play, and comes with a range of features including Play Maker Free Spins, where a sliding goal awards up to 15 free spins with stacked wilds sliding to fill the reel.

The game's Striker Feature sees the player attempt to make bicycle kicks hit targets to reveal symbols or wilds to secure larger jackpots.

Players can also collect flags of different countries to unlock levels for enhanced features and improved return-to-player (RTP). The unlockable levels change the gameplay with enhanced features such as more free spins and added wilds. XIN Gaming

Asian games and systems developer XIN Gaming has also launched a Euro 2016-themed football slot.

Euro Football Champ, a 5-reel, 3-row, 20-line slot, includes special features such as random wilds and penalty-shooting random wilds. Players are also offered a free spin feature through which they can choose the country they wish to play for.

Mathias Larsson, chief executive of XIN Gaming, believes that the release of Euro Football Champ will strengthen the company’s position at the top of the Asian slots sector.

The Canadian provincial lottery operator has rolled out a new version of one of its popular scratchcard lottery game across its land-based gaming establishments, and its Espacejeux.com iGaming platform.

From today, Loto‑Québec will offer two new ways to play the Gagnant à vie! Lottery game. In addition to the popular scratch ticket, the game will now be available in Québec’s four casinos and two gaming halls, with an interactive version launched on Espacejeux.com.

SoftSwiss has signed an agreement with iSoftBet to distribute the Alderney-licensed online and mobile content developer's games to customers.

The deal will see iSoftBet's portfolio of HTML5 and Flash titles, including a selection of branded games from iconic film and TV shows, made available to SoftSwiss' operator partners.

iSoftBet will also offer its Game Aggregation Platform (GAP), which enables SoftSwiss to add even more games from another 20 third party content providers through a single integration.

Gaming platform provider Pariplay has agreed a deal to integrate its gaming products with Iforium’s casino platform.

The integration will see Pariplay’s portfolio of branded and proprietary online casino, instant win and scratch card games added to Iforium’s Gameflex platform, which currently features over 3,500 games from suppliers such as Microgaming, NetEnt, Playtech, and NYX.

Pariplay’s real-money online branded slots include the Atari Black Widow game, launched in Q1, Sharknado, and The Three Stooges.

In addition to the company’s branded titles, Pariplay’s complete range of slots will feature in the partnership, including Las Cucas Locas, Fish & Chips, alongside classic slot titles such as Red Hot Chili Chips and Poker Spins.

Pariplay’s development studio will also provide instant win titles and online scratch cards including Atari Asteroids, Tiki Madness, and Arctic Madness, and scratch cards such as The Alchemist, and Zodiac Fortune.

Russian based software platform provider Connective Games has launched Windfall Tournament, the latest initiative for customers who have integrated its poker software.

Launched initially for Pokerdom and Aconcagua, Windfall Tournament is an adaptation of the “Sit and Go” tournaments. It is a “Sit and Go Hyperturbo” for 3 players with a randomly determined jackpot prize before the first hand is played. The prizes can be up to 2,500 times the original buy in amount.
