Mobile games developer Tapinator has expanded its range of social casino games with the launch of an updated version of its Video Poker VIP product, alongside its second video poker title and a new blackjack product.

Tapinator has gone live with version 3.0 of Video Poker VIP, a title which first went live for iOS devices in May last year.

The new game features a multiplayer, heads-up mode, which allows players to compete head-to-head in one, two or three-minute games to win a shared pot.

“This functionality is competitive, social, and, we believe, will significantly contribute to monetization,” Tapinator said.

Video Poker Classic is a new video poker game for traditional players, looking to replicate real-money gameplay. It features 39 authentic game variants, which the developer says makes it the most diverse video poker product available for mobile devices.

Tapinator has also launched Blackjack Classic, a new video blackjack product designed to tap into new cross-promotional activities.

“We have made tremendous progress on our social casino initiatives and now have three 'best-in-class' products within the leading mobile app stores,” Tapinator chief executive Ilya Nikolayev said.

“We are seeing strong engagement, retention, and monetization from these products. We are also proud of our 4.5 out of 5.0 star average review score.

“We look forward to continuing to add features that improve key metrics, including In-App Purchase monetization, beginning with the launch of Multiplayer Mode in Video Poker VIP,” Nikolayev added.
