Cherry’s Yggdrasil Gaming has launched a white-label development studio to provide its development expertise to operators wishing to build bespoke slot games.

Yggdrasil White Label Studios will offer operators a dedicated team that will produce fully customised, permanently exclusive content based on Yggdrasil’s technology platform, including the use of its promotional tools BOOST and BRAG.

The studio team will manage the process from construction of the game client, the provision of the remote game servers, performance testing, certification and translation. It will also offer the potential to integrate the operator’s existing games onto Yggdrasil’s iSENSE 2.0 platform.

“Yggdrasil White Label Studios allows us to make a strategic commitment with operators where we both focus on what we know best,” said Yggdrasil CEO Fredrik Elmqvist. “An operator knows its customer base, brand and strategy better than anyone else, and we can now enable and deliver on that with our industry-leading platform and developmental expertise.”

Yggdrasil CEO Fredrik Elmqvist said that exclusive and customised content was a key differentiator for operators, and that it was far more cost-efficient for operators to work in partnership with Yggdrasil to develop this type of content.

“White-label solutions have proved extremely popular in this industry when it comes to platform provision, but this is the first time anyone has offered white-label game design,” he said. “It is going to revolutionise the way slots are developed.”

The supplier said that white-label development studio would have a capacity for up to three partners by the second quarter of 2017, with further capacity to be added during the second half of the year.
