Penn Interactive Ventures, the iGaming division of US racetrack and casino operator Penn National Gaming, has launched Hollywood Classic Slots, the first app developed by its recently-acquired studio Rocket Games.
Hollywood Classic Slots is the first app developed by its recently-acquired Rocket Games studio and includes more than 30 three and five-reel slots, offering players hourly free credit bonuses and the ability to compete against one another in tournaments.
It is available for iOS, Android and Amazon Fire devices, with a desktop version expected to be launched in the coming months.
"This is an exciting time to launch Hollywood Classic Slots and Rocket's content, as our classic slots on our HollywoodCasino.com platform and at our land based casinos have proven to be very popular with players," said Penn National senior vice president and managing director of iGaming Chris Sheffield.
"After our customers visit any of our 20 land based casinos, we want them to have the option of continuing the fun of playing our exciting play for fun social slot games from the comfort of their own homes. In addition, with Hollywood Classic Slots, we have plans to incorporate our loyalty program, Marquee Rewards, so customers can earn rewards to use at their favourite casino."
This is the third free-to-play offering to be launched by Penn, and the first with Rocket Games since it was acquired in a $60m deal in August.
Penn also offers HollywoodCasino.com - featuring online and mobile free slots supplied by Scientific Games; Facebook and mobile slots via HollywoodSlots.com; and advanced deposit wagering via HollywoodRaces.com.
