Greentube, the iGaming arm of Austrian gaming supplier Novomatic, has signed a partnership with Gibraltar-based mobile gaming specialist Chopsticks to launch a range of skill games across multiple channels.

The two companies will develop a number of social games into skill-based titles for land-based, web and mobile devices, using Chopsticks' gamification solutions to add the gambling mechanics.

Greentube said the move was in response to increasing demand for skill games from operators looking to appeal to a wider player demographic.

"We have a strong heritage of skill-based gaming through a long-standing history of Novomatic games in amusement with prizes (AWP) markets," Greetube chief executive Thomas Graf commented.

"We understand the dynamics of these skill elements very well and are taking this to the next level through this agreement with Chopsticks in the apps."

Chopsticks is led by Michal Palecek, former chief executive of Gamblified, the business that partnered Cashplay last year to launch Dead Trigger 2: eSports Tournament for real-money play.

Commenting on the news partnership, Palecek said: "It is hugely exciting to form this partnership with Greentube that will allow us to quickly reach new markets.
