Toronto-listed supplier NYX Gaming Group has signed a licensing deal with Endemol Shine Gaming to launch a number of exclusive titles on its platform.

The intellectual property partnership will see games based on Endemol’s popular TV shows made available to operators via the NYX Open Gaming System (OGS).

The first slot to go live in November will be Oliver Twist, a 5-reel slot where players must collect as much money as possible as they navigate through Oliver Twist's Dickensian London with Nancy’s Bingo, Mr Bumble’s Workhouse and the Dreaded Peelers appearing at various stages along the way.

“NYX is delighted to seal this latest deal with a notable partner such as Endemol Shine Gaming,” said David Johnson, commercial director of NYX Gaming. “Endemol Shine’s IP will be a strong addition to the NYX portfolio of content and we look forward to working together to bring additional instantly recognizable brands to market.”

Endemol produces a range of popular television shows including Big Brother, Peaky Blinders, Masterchef, One Born Every Minute and 8 out of 10 Cats, and has developed a number of titles for the iGaming space in the past with leading UK operators including William Hill, Betfair, Ladbrokes, Paddy Power and Skybet.

In August, Gamesys launched a Deal or No Deal online slot for New Jersey players following an agreement with Endemol, while Playtech recently renewed the rights for the Deal or No Deal Bingo game.

“This deal marks the first of many for Endemol Shine Gaming’s branded games via NYX’s extensive operator network,” said Owain Walbyoff, managing director of Endemol Shine Gaming. “NYX are well-renowned market leaders in this industry and we look forward to growing our partnership with them.”

Shares in NYX Gaming Group Ltd (Co. Data) (CVE:NYX) closed at CAD$1.70 per share in Toronto Friday, prior to the announcement.
