Online poker giant PokerStars has introduced a new timed tournament based on its popular fast poker game format Zoom .
Available across desktop and mobile, Beat The Clock games are Zoom tournaments that last just five minutes, which the operator explained would be a “fun, adrenaline-induced experience for players looking for some rapid-fire poker action.”
The product launch has been accompanied by a new global TV advertising campaign, featuring Real Madrid footballer and PokerStars brand ambassador Cristiano Ronaldo (pictured).
“Beat The Clock requires you to think and act quickly with a high level of skill, which gives me the same rush of excitement that I experience on the pitch,” said Ronaldo. “The timed element of this game makes it fun to play and means I can get that quick adrenaline fix on the move.”
PokerStars believes that the game will appeal to players who enjoy fast-paced games, as well as beginners who want to develop their poker skills.
