Stockholm-listed gaming operator Betsson has lauded the roll-out of a new front-end solution which it says makes it the largest mobile casino in the market.

The in-house developed One Betsson Group (OBG) front-end technology allows to offer more than 800 games for play on mobile devices.

The mobile casino is the first product to feature OGB, which is a component layer that sits between the operator's proprietary technology platform Techsson and its different branded front ends.

Betsson said this will enable its brands to accelerate the roll out of games, improve the functionality of sites, and enhance the user experience.

The mobile product also features improved search, filtering, favouriting, personalisation and recommendation features to allow for better navigation through the high volume of content.

"The success of Betsson Group's multi-brand strategy is dependent on a scalable technology," Betsson chief executive and president Ulrik Bengtsson said. "The introduction of Techsson reduced platform cost per user. OBG is taking scalability to the next level as it makes improvement of the user experience more efficient.

"We firmly believe this casino is bringing to the forefront of the industry — and the rest of the Betsson brands are to follow suit."

Shares in Betsson AB (Co.Data) (STO:BETS-B) were trading up 0.23 per cent at SEK86.90 per share in Stockholm early Tuesday.
