Inspired will roll out its online and retail virtual sports products in Poland next year, with betting operator Fortuna set to be the first operator to launch the games.

Fortuna will deploy the virtual sports products in over 200 retail outlets in Poland and online after agreeing an extension to its contract with Inspired through to 2019.

The virtual sports lineup will initially include Rush Football 2 and Rush Keno, with Rush Basketball and Rush Football Matchday to follow later in 2017.

“Fortuna is thrilled to be extending its existing contract with Inspired which will make it the first operator in Poland to deliver Inspired’s premium virtual sports products,” said Michal Hanák, group chief sportsbook officer for Fortuna Game.

“The passing of new regulations is significant news for the region and will allow Fortuna to strategically increase its presence in retail venues and in the online space. We look forward to working with Inspired for the duration of this extended contract, and beyond.”

Fortuna already offers players a range of games from Inspired including Virtual Horse Racing, Virtual Greyhounds and Virtual Motor Racing in other Central European jurisdictions.

“Inspired is delighted to make this announcement, which will see it deploying its virtual sports products into more territories with Fortuna in 2017,” said Steve Rogers, Inspired’s chief commercial officer of digital games. “Inspired prides itself on operating only in regulated jurisdictions, and the passing of this new legislation in Poland provides a strategic opportunity to deliver our virtual sports online and in retail to a new European market.”
