Swedish casino games developer NetEnt has paid out its first multi-million Euro jackpot of the year to a Finnish player on Paf.com.

The lucky player in Finland won the €3.5m prize playing NetEnt’s Mega Fortune Dreams slot at Paf’s online casino last week. The unnamed 62-year-old woman hit the jackpot on January 18th after placing a bet of just €1.

It is the second time in as many months that the Mega Fortune Dreams jackpot has been won, after another player took home €7.5m in December.

“We’re absolutely delighted that Mega Fortune Dreams has yet again changed a player’s life,” said Simon Hammon, chief product officer at NetEnt. “It only took a couple weeks for us to have our first big winner of 2017.

“It shows that NetEnt’s games continue to provide casinos with top-class games, giving them the opportunity to make their customers multi-millionaires.”

Shares in NetEnt AB (Co. Data) (STO:NET_B) were trading down 1.04 per cent at SEK71.65 per share in Stockholm early Monday.
