London-listed gaming technology and services supplier Playtech has launched a new exclusive slot game for UK bookmaker Coral which allows customers to unlock enhanced features and functionality by playing in-shop, online and on mobile.

Tiki Paradise is a first-of-its-kind omni-channel game and is already live across Coral’s channels and in more than 300 betting shops across the UK, with this number set to rise to all 1,800 retail outlets by the end of this month.

The game is a five-reel, 10 win-line slot and includes a Wild Nights feature which triggers randomly for a stacked wild reel, and also includes the possibility of a Win Shuffle to enhance a player’s win by shuffling the reels.

In addition, three ‘Free Spins’ scatter symbols trigger 10 free spins, while a wild symbol substitutes for all symbols except for the Free Spins scatter symbol.

Utilising Playtech’s platform technology and unified system, the slot game enables cross channel play, with customers in-shop rewarded with an extra Wild Nights feature if they use Coral’s Connect card.

Customers who then play online or on mobile within the next 14 days can unlock a further two free games features to choose from when in the free spins bonus. The full choice of five features is then unlocked if a customer plays in-shop and as long as the player returns to play again on either channel (online or retail) within 14 days, the features remain unlocked.

“Playtech is showing exceptional innovation,” said chief operating officer Shimon Akad. “It is a first-ever omni channel content launch and Playtech's newest and smartest addition to our Playtech ONE platform.

“The Playtech ONE platform is the first to allow these types of enhanced rewards and free spins features across retail and online domains – delivering a single coherent user experience across retail, online and mobile to ultimately supply our operators with the leading technology in the gaming industry.”

Mark Kemp, product director for Ladbrokes Coral, added: “This is a first of its kind and we’re delighted to be announcing it exclusively in partnership with Playtech. Not only will our Coral Connect customers find Tiki Paradise incredibly engaging and great fun to play, it enables us to develop and launch further integrated omni-channel content that significantly increases the gaming experience for players who play slots in our shops and on mobile.”

Shares in Playtech plc (Co. Data) (LSE:PTEC) were trading up 1.03 per cent at 879.00 pence per share in London early Monday.
