This week's Games Round-up includes new slot launches from Habanero, Quickspin, and Realistic Games, alongside platform integrations by the likes of Pariplay, Betsoft Gaming and Nolimit City.

Playtech-owned slots specialist Quickspin announced the release of Hot Sync, the first of ten new games that it plans to roll out this year.

Hot Sync is a modern take on a classic theme, with bright colours and bold backgrounds. The 3x5 reel, 20-line video slot includes free spins and a re-spin feature, during which triggering reels are hot and throw additional wilds into the reel to initiate another re-spin.

Free spins are awarded when three scatter symbols appear on a single spin, launching eight free games. During free spins any Hot Sync wild symbol will turn that reel hot and introduce additional wilds.

As with all Quickspin slots, Hot Sync has been developed in HTML5. It joins recent releases Dragon Shrine, Gold Lab and Spinions Beach Party on the supplier’s proprietary platform.

“Hot Sync is a vibrant and colourful game with a low to medium volatility that will have widespread appeal among players,” said Quickspin CEO and Gaming Intelligence Hot 50 winner Daniel Lindberg. “The Hot Sync respin feature is a great addition, giving players the chance to not only unlock big wins, but epic ones.

“We’re confident games like it and those that follow in 2017 will give us the most compelling content on the market,” he added.

Casino games developer Habanero has unveiled its latest slot based on the Chinese legend in which a Koi fish transforms into a powerful dragon.

Koi Gate is a five reel, three row, fixed 18 line slot game which takes players on a calm and tranquil journey up-stream. It is based on a Chinese legend in which a Koi fish swims through waterfalls and other obstacles to reach the top of a mountain, where it turns into a powerful dragon.

There are no free games but it includes a respin feature, with the game developed in HTML5 to offer a seamless experience across any device.

Habanero’s head of sales Daniel Long described the game as the company's most visually stunning to date.

“The design is simply outstanding,” he said. “But much like the Koi fish, it is all about the flow which is why we have devised a simpler math formula than is the norm for our games.

“This comes together to give Koi Gate a zen-like quality that will help it appeal to players in both Eastern and Western markets.”

Realistic Games

Casino games supplier Realistic Games has released its latest slot, Time is Money.

With five reels and twenty lines, the time travel-themed slot features high definition graphics and is available for desktop, mobile, and tablet devices.

In the free spins bonus, all wins are multiplied by up to x12 by a random multiplier, selected from the time travelling clock. Each multiplier can be used once and when all multipliers have been used, the player wins a jackpot of 250x the starting stake.

Free spins are initiated by the clock scatter symbols appearing on any of the reels. Three scatters trigger 12 free spins, four gives 24 free spins, and five scatters awards 48 free spins. The bonus round can also be re-triggered.

“Time is Money allows players to enjoy the time travel theme as well as having the opportunity of hitting the jackpot prize of 250x their starting stake,” said Realistic Games CEO and Gaming Intelligence Hot 50 winner Andy Harris. “We’re thrilled with the innovative free spins bonus and the multiplying clock feature, which we believe will help engage players and keep them playing around the clock.”

Newly established slots developer Ganapati has reached an agreement to launch a game around the hit Japanese single Pen-Pineapple-Apple-Pen.

The single was released last year by singer-songwriter Pikotaro, and produced by comedian Daimaou Kosaka. It has received more than 110m views on YouTube to date.

Ganapati develops slots based around Japanese culture, and launched its first game Suzu: She Ninja at ICE last week. The supplier has a deal in place with Sony and AVEX to launch the Pen-Pineapple-Apple-Pen slot game later this year.

“Japanese culture is taking the world by storm right now, and we are excited to be able to share it with European consumers via our slots games,” said Richard Hogg, director at Ganapati. “The country’s entertainment industry is the most innovative and exciting in the world, evidenced by the success of Pen-Pineapple-Apple-Pen, Pikotaro, and Daimaou Kosaka.

“With the deal now in place, our team of designers and developers are already hard at work on the look and feel of the game, and we can’t wait to bring it to market later this year.”

Ganapati was founded in 2016 by a group of international entrepreneurs. Its aim is to supply the online gaming market with titles that combine the best Japanese game logic and design with a unique entertainment element.

Betsoft Gaming/GoWild

Casino games developer Betsoft has reached a deal to supply its full suite of games to Malta-licensed iGaming operator GoWild Gaming.

Betsoft will provide its complete portfolio of titles, including its ToGo line of mobile games, for distribution via the operator’s GoWild Casino and Wildjackpots sites.

“We are building our very own platform that is integrating all leading game providers,” said Shanta Segabon, GoWild’s head of marketing and content. “Betsoft is well known among these. We appreciate Betsoft Gaming for the broad range of their iGaming content as well as the high quality of their games.

“By offering these industry leading games to our vast and dedicated player base, we will be providing a first-class online casino experience quite unlike any other available on the market today.”

Mark McKeown, Betsoft’s vice president of sales and marketing, added: “Go Wild has had more than a decade of leading in this industry. That immense experience has led them to create a unique experience for their players, all backed by a strong reputation of trust and near 100 per cent availability.

“They are the ideal partner and we look forward to reaching new heights of success as we march into the future of iGaming together.”

Interwetten has struck a partnership with Isle of Man-based content provider Pariplay to launch its titles.

The agreement sees Pariplay's entire casino games portfolio rolled out on Interwetten’s site, including Atari-branded games Asteroids, Star Raiders and Black Widow.

Branded content including The Three Stooges and the soon-to-launch Sharknado slot will also go live alongside video slots such as Las Cucas Locas, Fish & Chips, The Magical Forest, Rio Bingo, and Fur Ball.

The deal sees Interwetten take advantage of a strategic partnership struck by its existing partner iSoftBet and Pariplay in August last year, which saw the two suppliers agree to distribute one another's content. This licensing deal allows the operator to access Pariplay content through iSoftBet's Game Aggregation Platform.

" is one of the iGaming industry's longest-serving and well-established brands, so our partnership will expand our casino content to new audiences," Pariplay general manager Adrian Bailey explained.

"We hope that our games will continue to support the growth of’s online casino and the brand's broader product diversification, allowing the operator to target new player demographics and retain existing ones."

Nolimit City

Stockholm-based casino games developer Nolimit city has expanded into the Asian iGaming market following a distribution deal with content aggregation platform QTech Games.

Nolimit will supply the Asian-facing provider with a selection of its HTML5 slots, including Oktoberfest, Space Arcade and Creepy Carnival, with additional games to be rolled out during the year.

“Asia is a huge market with a lot of untapped potential, so we are thrilled to have gained access to the region via our deal with QTech Games,” explained Jonas Tegman, chief technology officer at Nolimit city. “QTech is a very good partner for us. They have a top-class technical platform, intelligent and passionate staff, and have great momentum behind their business right now. They are exactly what we look for in a partner."

QTech Games CEO Jonas Alm said he was thrilled to have joined forces with Nolimit city.

“Nolimit city has very experienced team with a deep knowledge of the casino industry, which is reflected in their awesome games,” he said. “The online casino sector is on track to continue its phenomenal growth in 2017, so we are happy to be riding the wave with a partner as impressive as Nolimit city.”
