Cherry's game development arm Yggdrasil Gaming is set to launch a revamped version of its HTML client framework over the coming weeks, with its newly released Power Plant the first slot to take advantage of the platform upgrade.
Designed to enhance the user experience, Yggdrasil’s iSENSE 2.0+ will go fully live in the summer, although some features will be available earlier on new titles.
The upgrades include a new minimalistic UI (user interface) for both mobile and desktop, while from a UX perspective the framework facilitates in-game deposits, allowing players to go to the deposit screen with a single click without leaving the game client.
“iSENSE 2.0+ is yet another game-changer from Yggdrasil, so we are delighted to announce its upcoming launch,” said Yggdrasil chief product officer Krzysztof Opałka. “Several of the new features are already available for operators to trial, and we will be rolling out the full framework in the coming months.
“We are always looking at ways to enhance the user experience, and iSENSE 2.0+ has been designed with exactly this in mind.”
The supplier’s portrait-mode slot Power Plant is the first title to take advantage of the enhanced HTML client framework. The futuristic game transports players to an electrified industrial world, where they search for big wins across 82 paylines.
The game is amped up with an innovative 5x8 reel set, which is a first for Yggdrasil and is designed specifically to be portrait-mode friendly, with its long reels and newly-introduced scrollable paytables.
“Power Plant is a game which allows players to enjoy a video slot to its fullest, offering a whole new gaming experience,” said Yggdrasil’s head of gaming Jonas Strandman. “Re-spin features and big wins are given out frequently, so even a short session brings lots of action.
“The new iSENSE 2.0+ gives us a wealth of new options to build innovative titles, and Power Plant is just the beginning.”
