NYX Gaming Group's development subsidiary NextGen Gaming has launched ARC, a new proprietary solution that slashes speed to market for new titles from third-party partners.

The ARC interface technology builds on NextGen's existing Game Development Module (GDM), which offers end-to-end game development and deployment capabilities to content studios.

It allows these studios to deploy their own servers and preferred client game engine framework via GDM, without the need for external middleware. ARC allows developers to deliver games using various application programming interfaces (APIs) and programming languages, meaning studios have more freedom than ever before.

"With ARC, we are delivering an efficient, dynamic and mutually profitable solution to our partners," newly-appointed NextGen chief commercial officer David Johnson explained. "ARC is a significant innovation for NextGen and NYX, making it easier than ever for external studios to integrate and enjoy truly optimal speed to market, while operators benefit from an even wider range of innovative content from our global suppliers."

Partners such as Chance Interactive and Game360 have already begun to use the solution, with Foxium set to launch a new game, The Odd Forest, via the ARC.

Shares in NYX Gaming Group Limited (Co.Data) (TSX:NYX) closed up 2.78 per cent at CAD$1.11 per share in Toronto Monday.
