Virtual sports specialist Kiron Interactive has launched its games in Malta across the retail estate of sports betting brand IZIBET.

Kiron's virtual sports titles will be offered in the market for the first time through Playtech BGT Sports' self-service betting terminals at 30 IZIBET outlets, as well as at the Dragonara Casino’s dedicated sports lounge.

"We're delighted to team up with [IZIBET owner] Gaming Operations Limited in launching our virtual sports in the Maltese market via Malta's most extensive sports betting retail network." Kiron chief executive Steven Spartinos said.

"We are confident that our virtual games will prove to be as popular in Malta as they have been in other European markets such as Italy," Spartinos added. "We expect that our diverse portfolio will appeal to a whole range of players in IZIBET's retail shops."

Virtual football is the first game to launch, with other games such as virtual horse and dog racing set to be added to the offering in due course.

"We're always looking for ways to add to our already-rich portfolio of sports betting products. We feel we've just added a great product with the Kiron range of virtual sports titles," IZIBET business development director Franco Degabriele commented.

"Our aim is to provide our punters with the best range of products possible. We are extremely excited to have brought these games to Malta and are confident that the take up for this type of sports betting will be great."
