This week sees new slots released by Yggdrasil Gaming, Play’n GO, Betsoft Gaming and Microgaming, as well as launches for Habanero and platform integrations for Link2Win and BetGames.tv.
Yggdrasil’s latest slot brings Egypt’s hidden past to life with Valley of the Gods, featuring an army of flying scarab beetles ready to dig up huge treasures.
The game sees the scarabs scuttle around the game field, initially removing blockers and later granting multipliers and extra lives.
Players aim to hit winning combos throughout the game to release the holy golden scarabs. Once the scarabs have helped to clear the board, ancient incantations are invoked and the legendary beetles help players gain immortality through extra lives and multiplier bonuses. Multipliers bestow a boost to wins and extra lives grant players additional shots at extending their winning runs.
“Valley of the Gods deconstructs the ever-popular Egyptian theme and rebuilds it into a game that will truly stand the test of time,” said Yggdrasil Gaming’s head of slots Jonas Strandman. “To achieve this, we have created an original game design concept, combining proven crowd-favourite features with new-to-market mechanics, all complemented with a grand soundscape and great visuals.
“The outcome is just as epic as we hoped for – a great adventure which will take our players on a journey filled with quality entertainment, exciting gameplay and legendary wins.”
Swedish games developer Play’n GO has released another Leprechaun-related slot with Leprechaun goes to Hell.
The 5-reel, 25 fixed line game features the eponymous hero up against the wicked she-devil Evilene and melting pots of gold.
The duo form the game’s two wild symbols that substitute for any other reel symbol, except scatters, to help create winning combinations. If they are both part of the same winning payline combination, the payline is doubled.
Pots of gold scatter symbol also awards free spins whilst three Evilene bonus scatter symbols trigger the Infernal Bonus Round.
“Our slots have always been known for blazing a trail, but we think we’ve hit a hot streak with Leprechaun goes to Hell,” said Play’n GO CEO Johan Törnqvist. “It has the perfect combination of great graphics, solid maths, and immersive gameplay which players and operators love in equal measure. It should be one helluva hit.”
The Isle of Man-based gaming supplier has announced plans to release two new games in early September, including the latest slot developed exclusively by Rabcat.
108 Heroes Multiplier Fortune brings the band of warriors back together in this 3-reel online slot. The game features similar lavish and traditional Chinese graphics to its predecessor, transporting players back to Ancient China to join the legendary heroes as they restore honour to the kingdom.
The 108 Heroes can multiply wins and act as wilds, and players can seize big rewards with multiplier wild respins for a chance to double wins. Multiplier wilds exist on every wheel and can combine for wins of up to 10x the original bet, whilst stacking two or more multiplier wilds on the centre reel will trigger the respin feature for even more wins.
Gnome Wood is a magical 5-reel, 25 payline online slot from Rabcat, the makers of Castle Builder II. The game immerses players in a spellbinding world set in a woodland inhabited by mystical creatures ready to accompany players on their journey to big rewards.
The online slot features Wandering Wilds, which can appear on any reel in both the base game and free spins to activate bonus spins. The Wandering Wild symbols can also materialise as Multiplier Wandering Wilds with the ability to double winnings for an even bigger fortune. As players venture further into the enchanted woodland, they discover the Gamble Game feature which grants up to five chances to choose from two magical cauldrons, one of which will illuminate and double wins.
108 Heroes Multiplier Fortune and Gnome Wood both go live with Microgaming and Quickfire operators on September 6th.
“Players are in for epic adventures with our new game additions this September,” said David Reynolds, games publisher at Microgaming. “We have 108 Heroes Multiplier Fortune which follows on from its predecessor, combining player-favourite graphics from 108 Heroes with the mechanics of Mega Money Multiplier to give players non-stop action and exciting rewards.
“Gnome Wood is exclusive to Microgaming and Quickfire operators and features a Wandering Wild mechanism on a popular 5-reel setup. Merging outstanding visuals and highly entertaining features, this game promises a fast-paced game experience embedded in a mystical world crafted for passionate players.”
3D casino games developer Betsoft has announced the latest addition to its Slots3 collection with the launch of Giovanni’s Gems.
The game sees players follow the adventures of the charismatic Giovanni the Gem Hunter, who after many years has discovered an incredible cave of uncut prismatic gems in the deep Valtara forest.
The 7x7 Cascading reels video slot features cluster wins, where five or more contiguous matching stones explode in a shimmering sparkle of colour and light, making room for more gems to fall in from above.
Diamonds are the most sought-after gemstone in the game. Giovanni also appears in his own symbol, where three or more pay anywhere on the reels, and five or more unlock the Free Spins feature.
“The 7x7 grid in Giovanni’s Gems is an arrangement that is rather unique,” said Dan Cooper, Betsoft’s head of product development. “This expanded grid offers an unprecedented chance for many explosive cluster wins and the formation of valuable Diamonds.
“Gems are a popular element in many games and we think the raw, uncut shapes of the gems and crystals in Giovanni’s Gems are appealing and provide a great contrast to products already on the market.”
Slots developer Genesis Gaming has released a new Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) inspired game, Primetime Combat Kings, exclusively for Betsson.
The 25-line slot game takes players into the ring to duke it out for fame and fortune. Players will fight to obtain the scatter belt symbol and activate the Ring Wheel feature. Inside the ring-shaped cage they’ll face the wheel feature where they’ll need to fight their way out to win up to 20 Free Spins and 5x multiplier.
“This is one of our punchier titles to date; pun fully intended.” said Kevin Lee, CEO of Genesis Gaming. “With non-stop action, a killer soundtrack and wild characters, it’s hard not to feel like you’re right there in the ring competing for the grand title.”
Online casino games developer Habanero has launched its full portfolio of games with operator Tempobet.
Among the games available will be recent release The Dead Escape, as well as popular titles Panda Panda, Bird of Thunder and Fire Rooster.
“We are delighted to agree a deal with Tempobet and are very confident our portfolio of immersive titles will keep players fully-entertained,” said Daniel Long, head of sales at Habanero. “This deal marks yet another major step in our progression as a supplier and we look forward to forming a successful partnership with Tempobet as we both push towards a common goal.”
Tempobet CEO Tim Peters added: “We are always looking to offer players the industry’s most engaging titles and that’s what we have achieved by partnering with Habanero.
“Their HTML5 games are some of the best around and we are certain our players will be thrilled with their offering as we continue to grow our product range.”
Gaming provider VSoftCo is looking to expand outside of virtual sports for the first time following a tie-up with Isle of Man-based games provider Link2Win.
The multi-year agreement will see VSoftCo integrate Link2Win’s complete portfolio of Linka games to its gaming platform.
“The partnership with Link2Win is very exciting for VSoftCo as it is the first time we are integrating a third party gaming provider outside of the virtual gaming space,” said Simon Westbury, chief commercial officer of VSoftCo. “Our partners have been very impressed with the Link2Win content and they are all looking to have access to the content through our leading RGS system.
“2017 has been an excellent year thus far with expansion into online and mobile, geographical expansion into South America and now we are delighted to be expanding our gaming portfolio into different gaming verticals.”
iGaming platform provider BtoBet has partnered BetGames.tv to roll out live streamed casino and lottery games for the retail betting market in Latin America and Africa.
BtoBet chairman Alessandro Fried said that the company’s concept aims to set the player at the centre of the gambling experience.
“We are very proud to have started this collaboration with BetGames.tv,” he said. “In fact, the offer of streamed games and lottery creates a new gambling dimension in the retail betting shops for players living in regions like Africa and Latin America.
“A dedicated satellite channel gives players the possibility to enjoy a new – and really appreciated - gambling experience also in areas where the internet connection is not always working perfectly.”
