Lottoland is promising players the largest prizes in the industry for scratchcard, casino and instant win games through a new solution combining its prize insurance infrastructure with a random number generator.
The lottery betting specialist's Random & insured Number Generator (RiNG) allows it to offer players the chance to win millions, with KeNow Play, offering a €5m top prize and a €10m scratchcard, already live on Lottoland.com.
As well as launching the games on its proprietary site, the products will also be made available for B2B clients via Lottoland Solutions and its partners Glück Games and Gamevy.
The RiNG technology uses a piece of hardware called a Quantis Appliance to ensure the numbers are truly random, with two installed to protect against failure. The technology uses a time-stamping mechanism to ensure the results are protected from tampering.
This means that any instant win prizes or jackpots can be underwritten by Lottoland's prize insurance, centred around its Insurance Linked Security (ILS). This, in turn, means that all prizes are seeded by the insurance, similar to the way in which the company artificially creates jackpot liquidity for its core lottery betting product rather than having prizes based on the number of participants.
"Leading betting operators already work with Lottoland Solutions to provide lotto betting services to their players," Lottoland chief executive Nigel Birrell said. "Now, all private and state operators offering casino-style, instant win and scratchcard gaming can work with us.
"We look forward to sharing this breakthrough combination of technology and insurance," he added. "It will enable the instant win gaming and younger generation lottery players to get access to high jackpot instant win games, whilst operators can freely decide which prizes they want to offer – we will provide the insurance".
The company plans to release a range of instant win games with prizes of up to €100m, as well as scratchcards with €2.5m, €5m and €7.5m jackpots.
Lottoland is also looking to partner with third-party developers, allowing them to use the RiNG technology to build high jackpot games which are insured through its prize infrastructure.
