Malta-based slots developer Tom Horn Gaming has been granted approval to launch its portfolio of games in the United Kingdom.

The supplier has been granted a Combined Remote Operating Licence by the UK Gambling Commission, allowing the company to offer its games to operators in what it described as an "important market". The first clients are expected to go live in the coming weeks.

Chief executive Ondrej Lapides said the approval of the licence was in line with the company's strategy to continue entering regulated markets.

"To be awarded a UK licence marks a huge milestone in our journey as a supplier as the UK is one of the world's largest and most respected markets," he said. "It has stringent regulations in place, with social responsibility and player protection in mind.

"We are delighted as a business to have been entrusted with the licence which demonstrates just how far we have come as a company. It recognises not only excellence of our products, which are renowned for high technical standards, gripping storylines and outstanding mechanics, but also Tom Horn's ethos and commitment to the principles of social responsibility and transparency."
