Online casino games provider WorldMatch has launched its games with Veramatic Group's brand in Spain.

A selection of WorldMatch's slot and video poker games have gone live on site, with the supplier currently awaiting certification from regulator Dirección General de Ordenación del Juego (DGOJ) to launch roulette and table games. Approval is expected to be granted during the second quarter.

"At we firmly believe that customers look for products similar to the ones they are familiar with, and want to enjoy them at home or elsewhere," said Veramatic Group director of online gaming Jorge Justicia. "The decision to choose WorldMatch was very simple, they bring fresh air to the gaming industry with a new product we trust which has high possibilities to grow along with us.

"Taking into account their expertise in the online channel was another important piece in the puzzle as well as their HD games platform which was another big plus."

With its games also live with several operators in Italy, the deal sees WorldMatch expand into the Spanish iGaming market for the first time - part of its strategy to enter regulated markets both in Europe and Latin America.

The supplier has also applied for a licence to launch its games in Colombia's newly regulated iGaming market, and hopes to begin rolling out its content there in the near future.

"We recently accomplished the DGOJ certification process and launched our games into the .es market," explained WorldMatch director Andrea Boratto. "With this partnership with Grupo Veramatic we took another important step along the path towards new and emerging regulated markets."
