iGaming solutions provider Playtech has expanded its live dealer offering through a partnership with specialist supplier Authentic Gaming.

The deal will enable Playtech licensees to access live streamed roulette from land-based properties including The Saint Vincent Resort Casino in Italy, Casino International Batumi at the Hilton Hotel in Georgia, and Romania’s Platinum Casino at the Radisson BLU Hotel in Bucharest.

Authentic and Playtech have an option to expand the scale and scope of the partnership in the coming months, increasing the number of tables available to players and integrating Authentic’s premium table offering.

“We have watched the development of Authentic Roulette and other products and, after careful evaluation, we are delighted to have partnered with Authentic Gaming,” said Shimon Akad, chief operating officer of Playtech, which was revealed yesterday (February 6th) as winner of three Gaming Intelligence Awards. “Its range of tables, land-based casino partners and video stream quality is impressive.

“This will further increase the breadth and depth of our best-performing, next-generation offering which is the most advanced on the market today.”

Authentic Gaming CEO and Gaming Intelligence Hot 50 winner Jonas Delin commented: “Playtech is the world’s largest supplier of online gaming software. Through this co-distribution agreement, our land-based live roulette streams will reach the phones, tablets and desktops of a huge number of players through Playtech’s extensive portfolio of tier one online gaming operators.

“We see this partnership a further testament to our quality product and we look forward to a long and successful relationship.”

Shares in Playtech plc (LSE:PTEC) were trading at 760.20 pence per share in London Wednesday morning.
