Spain's Casino Barcelona has expanded its online platform with the launch of 50 mobile casino games from Playtech, as well as a new poker offering that will be networked with players in France.

The Playtech-powered platform has gone live with 50 new mobile games, including the supplier’s award-winning Age of the Gods game, alongside the likes of White King, Halloween Fortune, Jackpot Giant and a series of Batman-branded slots.

CasinoBarcelona.es has also launched a new downloadable poker solution for its players on Android and iOS devices, and a new HTML5 version following its move to Playtech’s iPoker network last year.

This will soon include a new promotional package coinciding with the launch of Playtech’s pooled poker liquidity network with France, which will include guaranteed prize pool (GTD) tournaments and cash tables.

“Delivering these Playtech products in their mobile versions is really important for us, as it allows us to expand our games offer with premium content,” said Casino Barcelona director of online Xavier Ballester. “Poker represents a significant part of our iGaming offering because it enables us to interact with our poker players from the land-based casino.

“We look forward to seeing our customers access a wide range of exclusive casino games as part of our partnership with Playtech.”

Joerg Nottebaum, director of Playtech’s iPoker network, added: “We're delighted that Casino Barcelona is part of our Spanish network and is contributing to the success of iPoker.es.

“With these new additions and shared liquidity, we're confident that they will continue to grow their business in the Spanish market.”
