The Higher Regional Court of Koblenz, Germany, has rejected an appeal by a Gibraltar-based lottery betting provider accused of offering unauthorised games to German players via the internet.
The Koblenz court had issued a ruling in October 2018, stating that the Gibraltar-based company does not have approval in Germany to offer its services to players, or to advertise to them, and that its offering constitutes an illicit gambling offering under the State Treaty on Gambling.
