Stockholm-listed Evolution Gaming has partnered the games development subsidiary of TV production giant Endemol Shine Group for a new live dealer title based on the hit gameshow Deal or No Deal.

The agreement covers the European and North American gaming markets and marks the first time that an Endemol Shine brand has been licensed for use in the live dealer casino gaming market. It also gives Evolution the option to bring the Deal or No Deal brand into blackjack and roulette games.

The new title, Deal or No Deal Live Dealer, is scheduled for release in 2019.

"We are always looking at ways to diversify the Endemol Shine Gaming portfolio and the Deal or No Deal format lends itself perfectly to the live casino setting," Endemol Shine Gaming commercial director Mark Woollard said.

"As market leaders in this space, Evolution Games are the best partners to bring this first of its kind merging of TV and gaming entertainment to a live audience, for a unique Deal or No Deal experience."

Evolution chief product officer Todd Haushalter added: "We have been pushing the innovation boundaries and what it means to be a live casino provider for some time now, and particularly in the last year we have started introducing game show style games, which has been a huge success.

"We all love watching game shows and why shouldn't you be able to play along at home for real money? We are going to make this possible and we could not be more excited to bring this to online gaming."

Shares in Evolution Gaming Group AB (STO:EVO) were trading down 1.53 per cent at SEK580.50 per share in Stockholm early Friday, having gained more than 27 per cent on Thursday after the company reported first quarter revenue growth of 30 per cent.
