Malta-based game development studio Pragmatic Play has secured an agreement to provide its content to former Danish monopoly operator Danske Spil.

The supplier described it as a landmark deal, with titles including Wolf Gold, Hot Safari and Journey to the West to be among the first to go live.

"Danske Spil are one of Europe’s foremost operators, and we are very pleased to be bringing our acclaimed portfolio to their players in Denmark," said Pragmatic Play chief commercial officer Melissa Summerfield. "This is another important step for us as we continue to deliver the industry’s most sought-after collection of games in regulated markets."

Danske Spil head of product Søren Schneider added: "Our core priority is to grow the first-class online casino experience that we bring to our players with the greatest games on the market.

"Pragmatic Play have been great to work with as we activate this integration, and we look forward to enjoying a long and productive relationship as we move forward together."
