Isle of Man-based gaming supplier Microgaming has revealed that it has already paid out more than €16m in jackpot prizes through its Mega Moolah progressive slot in 2018.

Microgaming awarded a €4.6m jackpot to a player on Grand Mondial Casino in April, which followed a €2.4m win by a Zodiac Casino player in January, a €4.8m jackpot paid out to a Royal Vegas Casino player in February, and a €4.3m prize awarded to a player on Captain Cook's Casino in March.

"We all thought 2017 would be a hard year to top after the network paid out over €150m in jackpots, but 2018 is shaping up to be a huge year for Microgaming’s progressive jackpot network," said David Reynolds, games publisher at Microgaming.

"Multi-millionaires have been made each month so far and we are incredibly proud to offer the largest progressive jackpot network in the industry."

To date, Microgaming's progressive jackpot network has paid out over €874m to players.
