London-listed gaming supplier Playtech has teamed up with Sky Bingo to launch two new slot and bingo games based on the British reality TV dating show Love Island.

The new games have been developed exclusively for the Sky Bingo brand and launched to coincide with the new series of the popular ITV2 programme which began this week.

Designed to recreate the look and feel of the show, Love Island Bingo is a 90-ball bingo game which incorporates some of the show's instantly recognisable visual elements, with the ticket area designed in a swimming pool style to recreate the island atmosphere.

A Water Bottle bonus round, featuring an animated Love Island couple, is designed to add extra excitement and give players the chance to win an additional prize.

The accompanying slot game, Love Island Date Night, gives players the chance to win big with a private progressive jackpot. The game also features a bonus round where players get to go on a virtual date, picking a location, gift and chat-up line.

Shares in Playtech plc. (LSE:PTEC) opened marginally lower in London Thursday morning at 804.20 pence per share.
