Finland's state-owned gaming operator Veikkaus has confirmed that it will reduce the number of slot machines in operation across the country to 15,000 by the end of next year.
Veikkaus currently operates 18,500 slot machines across nearly 2,200 sales outlets in Finland, of which one third will be affected by the planned reduction which begins in January.
