Stockholm-listed live dealer provider Evolution Gaming has signed an agreement to install its Dual Play Roulette table at Malta's newest land-based venue, Casino Malta by Olympic Casino.

The Dual Play table is set within a five HD camera rig to allow on-premise and online players to play together at the same table, and is expected to go live in Q3 of this year.

"We are delighted to be working with Casino Malta for the first time," said Evolution director of business development and land-based sales James Stern. "Casino Malta was keen to extend the ability to play at their land-based venue to a much wider audience.

"Given the popularity of Malta as a holiday and short-break destination, that wider audience will include, of course, the very significant number of ad hoc players who play at the casino when visiting Malta. Now, following the installation of the Dual Play table, those players will be able to continue to play at Casino Malta when they return home."

Operated by Talinn-listed operator Olympic Entertainment Group, Casino Malta was established in cooperation with Maltese hotel and entertainment company Eden Leisure Group, and boasts 285 slot machines and 29 table games.

"Evolution has an enviable track record and reputation of working with the leading land-based casinos to deliver customised, truly convergent solutions," said Simon De Cesare, CEO of Eden Leisure Group. "We wanted our players to be able to play at one of their favourite Casino Malta Roulette tables even when they are not able to visit our casino in person or be at the actual table.

"Evolution Dual Play Roulette was the go-to option to enable that level of extended service and the customisation flexibility we required. Just as importantly, Evolution Dual Play is a convergence solution that works as part of the existing set-up and procedures of our land-based operations."

Shares in Evolution Gaming Group AB (STO:EVO) were trading up 1.29 per cent at SEK550.50 per share in Stockholm Thursday morning.
