This week sees new slots released by SG Digital, Yggdrasil Gaming, Leander Games and Wazdan, alongside platform integrations for Kiron Interactive, NSoft, Habanero, and Twelve40.
Casino games developer Yggdrasil Gaming takes players to ancient Egypt with its latest slot Tut's Twister.
The new slot takes players on an exciting journey, where the fabled King Tut has risen from his tomb, wreaking havoc across the reels in the form of a swirling sandstorm.
The game's main feature is Tut's Twister, which gets triggered once the player hits at least two wilds, with Tut transforming into a terrifying sandstorm, creating a reel-tall column of wilds.
The vortex will continue to consume wilds on the reels, awarding respins and multipliers as it continues to grow out of control, finally unleashing all absorbed wilds back onto the reels for big wins. Players can also collect ancient hieroglyphics, potentially unlocking Tut's hidden curses and unleashing additional wild twisters of unparalleled ferocity.
"Tut's Twister takes a new spin on the walking wilds mechanic, combining it with multipliers and respins in a way which sends players on winning streaks with an exponentially increasing win potential," said Yggdrasil Gaming head of slots Jonas Strandman.
"The fantastic ambience created by our art team, combined with a mechanic which always keeps decent sized wins in sight, is sure to create an army of fans for this epic game."
Scientific Games' SG Digital division has launched a new online slot based on American comedy classic The Legend of Ron Burgundy, which featured Will Ferrell as the title character.
SG Digital's Anchorman slot has been delivered in full portrait mode on mobile and comes packed full of character-specific bonuses.
The bonuses capture the essence of Anchorman with comedic flair. Ron's Giant Free Games, Whammy! Free Games, Brick's Weather Wheels, and the Sex Panther Pick Feature all combine player-favorite slot mechanics with Anchorman's quirky style of comedy.
"Anchorman brings a beloved comedy to the online slots world, full of edgy entertainment but with a chance at massive wins," said Tom Wood, chief creative officer at SG Digital.

Products included in the initial roll out are football, horse and greyhound racing, motor racing, cycling, basketball and boxing. Each of the games will be integrated onto Patagonia’s platform using Kiron's Betman Omni RGS.
“Kiron Interactive’s virtual offering is second-to-none and adding the content to our platform will diversify our offering further," said Patagonia Entertainment’s Pedro Baldriz. "Virtual games are hugely popular and it’s going to be fascinating to see their positive impact across Latam.”

UK-based games developer Leander Games has announced the launch of its latest title Afterlife: Inferno.
Designed and built in partnership with Ian Sims, who founded affiliate landing page tracker Rightlander last year, the game is loosely based on Dante's Divine Comedy and has been rolled out with operators including PokerStars, Betsson, Videoslots and SlotsMillion.
Leander Games CEO Steven Matsell said that the company hopes to introduce a new and exciting approach to game development by working with Sims.
"Afterlife: Inferno is designed by an expert slots player to appeal to other players who like high-variance games with the potential of massive multiplier wins," he said. "In partnership with Ian, we have brought together the right maths model and the right hit rates for a specific demographic of player."
Sims, a former affiliate site owner who started out as a developer, said that he always felt that more could be done to entice players to new games.
"You see so many games that come out and I would say that 90 per cent are standard fodder and copies of old slots," he said. "Most of them don't try and connect with players like me and captivate us with the right mechanics."
SlotsMillion CEO Alexander Tomic added: "The fact that 'Afterlife: Inferno' was developed with player input is very interesting to us and makes perfect sense. We are seeing a lot of innovative slots coming through but innovation doesn't necessarily equate to engagement.
"We think Leander may be on to something - after all, a game that understands how to engage the player will ultimately benefit everyone from the player to the casino and the developer."

"We are always looking to create content that will impress a wide range of players and markets and we are confident that players and operators alike will love what we are doing."
WeAreCasino chief commercial officer Christian Maglia added: "Habanero has created some of the most engaging titles on the market and we look forward to bringing them to new faces.
