Sydney-based casino games developer Big Time Gaming has secured the licensing rights to develop a new online slot based on the hit TV game show Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?
Big Time Gaming was granted the licensing rights by Sony Pictures Television following a competitive bid process, and aims to unveil the new games at G2E Las Vegas next month.
Operator LeoVegas will launch the game on an exclusive basis on November 18th, followed by its rollout to the wider market via the platforms of Scientific Games and Microgaming.
“We are delighted to have been awarded the licence for Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? and we are extremely proud of our first game offering in a series of slots with the brand's key identity at the heart,” said Big Time Gaming chief executive Nik Robinson. “Sony’s confidence in our ability to do the brand justice strengthens our market-leading position.
“Big Time Gaming is often seen as a small developer that punches above its weight, but this is further proof that the agile and streamlined nature of the business is one of our biggest advantages when it comes to launching cutting-edge games quickly," he added. "The Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? game will showcase our latest innovations when it comes to math and game mechanics, as well as the most mind-blowing graphics we have created to date.”
