This week sees PokerStars preview a new virtual reality offering, as well as launches for GVC-owned CR Games, Ainsworth Game Technology, Blueprint Gaming and Caleta Gaming, and a host of integrations for a number of suppliers.
London-listed operator GVC has boosted its online casino product offering with the integration of titles developed by CR Games, the in-house studio of Ladbrokes Coral, which was acquired by GVC earlier this year.
A catalogue of over 20 games, developed exclusively by the Manchester-based studio, will be rolled out across GVC’s brands including bwin, PartyCasino and Sportingbet.
Beginning this month in dotcom markets, five titles will be rolled out including CR’s flagship five-reel, ten-line slot Big Banker. Customers in regulated markets such as Italy, Denmark and New Jersey will be able to play the new games later in the year.
“This is an important milestone in the integration of GVC and Ladbrokes Coral and demonstrates the benefits to customers of bringing the businesses together,” said GVC chief product officer Liron Snir. “At GVC, content is king and we believe building a unique gaming offer, which marries exclusive in-house developed games with the very best titles from third-parties, is a win-win for our players.”
Online poker giant PokerStars is previewing a virtual reality version of its online poker software, in expectation of a commercial release in the future.
PokerStars VR is a free-to-play, immersive social poker game, which will give players the chance to play poker in visually stunning game environments, handle chips and cards just as in the real world, as well as study opponents, pick up tells, and chat in real-time.
Initially offering the No-Limit Hold’em version of poker, the multiplayer game is currently in a closed beta with around one hundred invitees playing and testing the game using Oculus Rift, HTC Vive and Steam.
The game has been developed with Lucky VR, and features intuitive controls for easy gameplay, voice command controls, integrated Twitch broadcasting, video streaming and social media integration on Oculus Rift for those who wish to play and stream.
It features five exotic virtual reality settings for players to experience: Macau 2050, The Macau Suite, The Showdown Saloon, Monte-Carlo Yacht, and The Void.

Big Time Gaming
Online slot specialist Big Time Gaming has agreed a deal to license its MegaWays mechanic to UK-based games developer Storm Gaming.
Storm will be combining the mechanic with some of its brand licenses, which include I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here, The Chase and Tipping Point.
The partnership will allow Storm to design and develop its own land-based and online games using MegaWays, which debuted in Big Time Gaming’s Dragon Born title more than three years ago.
MegaWays is a random reel modifier system that allows any given spin to produce a different number of symbols across the reels, so players can experience a totally different game with every spin.
“We’re looking forward to seeing how Storm use the MegaWays mechanic,” said Big Time Gaming CEO Nik Robinson. “Storm has some highly entertaining IP licenses that will work seamlessly with MegaWays™.”

Blueprint Gaming is another licensee of Big Time Gaming’s MegaWays mechanic, with the UK-based game studio revamping its popular title Genie Jackpots with the addition of MegaWays.
Set against the backdrop of an Arabian night, Genie Jackpot MegaWays features four magical power spins and four randomly awarded reel multipliers. A modified version of the MegaWays mechanic, which sees15,625 ways to win, is designed to give players an even greater chance of capturing big prizes.
The game also includes the Genie Bonus Wish VIP access, allowing users guaranteed entry into the MegaWays bonus round. The latest instalment of Genie Jackpots will go live across more than 20 of Blueprint’s operator partners, the supplier’s largest network release to date.

Ainsworth Game Technology
Australian gaming supplier Ainsworth Game Technology has launched its online content for the first time in the regulated Mexican iGaming market.
The supplier’s games have gone live with Logrand Entertainment Group’s Strendus.com.mx, including popular titles Mustang Money, Players Paradise and Big Hit Bonanza.

iGaming platform provider Oryx Gaming has secured an agreement to provide its content to leading betting and gaming operator GVC.
Oryx Gaming will launch a selection of its top-performing slot and casino games on GVC brands including bwin, PartyCasino, Sportingbet, Betboo and Foxy Casino, with a range of content also provided by third-party studios via the supplier’s RGS platform.

Malta-based slots and live casino provider Pragmatic Play has integrated its portfolio of games with operator Casumo.
The agreement will see the operator launch Pragmatic’s latest releases Da Vinci’s Treasure and Peking Luck, as well as popular titles Wolf Gold and Great Rhino.

Casino games provider Caleta Gaming has significantly expanded its portfolio with the release of 38 new titles for online casino operators.
The launch includes 21 new slot games including Magic Forest, China Charms, Torch of Fire and Fruit Salad, as well as a number of video bingo titles such as Bingolicious, Bingo Bruxaria and Shamrock Ball Bingo.

Virtual games specialist Kiron Interactive will supply its full portfolio of products to Asian-facing betting and gaming operator 138.com.
The UK and Isle of Man-licensed operator will benefit from Kiron’s fully hosted and managed turnkey virtual sports betting solution, featuring games on football, horse racing and greyhound racing.

Virtual sports platform provider VSoftCo has entered into a reciprocal multi-year agreement with Malta-based virtual sports specialist Virtus Sports.
VsoftCo will integrate Virtus’ complete portfolio of virtual games onto its platform, including all ten of Virtus’ racing products covering horse racing, dog racing, and motor sports.
The partnership will also see VSoftCo integrate its recently revamped football product, FL2019, onto the Virtus platform.

Casino games developer Betsoft Gaming has signed a content distribution deal with Curaçao-licensed operator Jumba Bet.
The agreement includes Betsoft’s portfolio of Slots3 series of games, and upcoming releases such as Max Quest: Wrath of Ra.
