This week has seen new games released by Microgaming and Wazdan, a contract extension for SportCaller, and a whole host of platform integrations for the likes of Playson, Rapid Games, NetEnt, 1X2 Network, Pragmatic Play, Habanero, Helio Gaming, Betsoft Gaming and RISQ.

Microgaming

Isle of Man-based supplier Microgaming has released a new slot developed exclusively by independent studio Slingshot Studios.

Cash of Kingdoms is a five by three reel, 15 payline online slot loaded with features, vibrant graphics and a band of brave heroes ready to accompany players on their quest for fortune and glory.

The medieval-themed slot introduces five fearless characters in the dashing Knight, magical Mage, crafty Rogue, bombastic Bombardier and feisty Archer.

Occurring in both the base game and free spins, Invading Wilds is designed to unleash a barrage of flaming arrows and swishing swords to turn reels wild. If the player lands a full stack of wilds on reel 2 or 4, Invading Wilds will turn an adjacent reel wild. If a full stack of wilds lands on reels 2 and 4, then the middle reel turns wild.

Players can raise their bounty in free spins, which can be triggered during the base game by landing three scatter symbols. In free spins, when a full stack of wilds lands on reels 2 and 4, the third reel will turn wild and an additional 2x multiplier is awarded.

“We are extremely excited to release Cash of Kingdoms, the first game under our studio brand,” said Slingshot Studios head of studio Richard Vermaak. “Our team has worked hard building a product we hope players will have as much fun playing as we’ve had creating.”

Microgaming games publisher David Reynolds commented: “We’ve been anticipating the release of Cash of Kingdoms ever since Microgaming previewed the game at ICE Totally Gaming with a spectacular acrobatic foot archer on our medieval-themed stand.

“Built with strong and regular features, which are amplified by paying both ways, the game delivers plenty of on-screen action on any device, together with a popular theme that is sure to make it a player favourite. Slingshot Studios has brought a dynamic addition to Microgaming’s diverse portfolio with Cash of Kingdoms, and we cannot wait to unveil more exclusive creations from them in the coming months.”

Wazdan

Malta-based slot specialist Wazdan has released its latest title with the launch of Hot 777 Deluxe.

Hot 777 Deluxe is a 3-reel, 5-payline Wild West-themed online slot which is based on one of Wazdan's most popular slots to date, the classic Hot 777 slot.

The game is set in the middle of a Wild West desert, with tumbleweeds periodically rolling across the main screen. The reels of this updated classic are filled with juicy fruit, including oranges, pears, lemons, cherries, plums, grapes and well as the rewarding red, gold and fiery 7 symbols.

Relaxing ambient sounds are accompanied by the spin button's reloading six barrel, explosions and energising campfire guitar playing.

In the game players can collect golden bullets every time a Hot 7 symbol appears anywhere on the reels. When the whole cowboy belt is filled with bullets and players hit the bonus symbol again, a Hot Spins feature is triggered. The sun sets over the desert and players receive 10 extra spins with Hot 7 symbols blocked on the reels for huge prizes.

“Hot 777 has a considerable installed base of enthusiastic players, so we were looking for ways to augment their enjoyment and add to the pathway for developing our successful slots into the next generation,” said Wazdan head of sales Andrzej Hyla.

“Our designers and developers have responded in style with Hot 777 Deluxe, which is an immersive and hugely playable game that has introduced a number of new features to the original popular game. Hot 777 Deluxe will deliver exciting wins for players and solid revenue coupled to extended play for operators.”

SportCaller

Free-to-play sports games specialist SportCaller has extended its agreement with Paddy Power Betfair to allow the operator to continue offering its Beat The Drop game to players.

SportCaller and Paddy Power Betfair's previous two-year agreement saw Beat The Drop rolled out during the World Cup, with the game now set to become a regular fixture with the operator.

The free-to-play game challenges players to answer a series of yes-or-no questions in a bid to hold on to a £1,000 prize.

“Beat The Drop was an instant hit with our customers,” said Stephen McMeel, acquisition and emerging products manager at Paddy Power Betfair. “Discernible spikes in activity levels and retention have already followed, with Beat The Drop’s simple format and engaging gameplay giving players an interest in all their preferred matches alongside the chance to win £1m.

“We found that all subsequent paid-for entries also surpassed our expectations. Retention will be at a premium over the current Premier League campaign. So, it’s great to be working more closely with SportCaller’s proactive team to better unpack conversion rates and understand true customer value.”

SportCaller managing director Cillian Barry added: “It’s so rewarding for our games to have been integrated by such a renowned name as Paddy Power Betfair, and it’s great to see that Beat The Drop is already proving its worth, breaking new thresholds for trackable engagement and activity.

RISQ

iGaming marketing platform BlueRibbon has partnered jackpot insurance and risk management provider RISQ to allow operators to offer life-changing jackpots to their players via the BlueRibbon platform.

The partnership means that operators can create, customise and control bespoke jackpots that are tailored to their needs and that cater to all player segments and preferences, with prize pots that are insured for up to £25m.

The agreement sees the RISQ iGaming Insurance Platform (iGiP) integrated with the BlueRibbon marketing platform. The iGiP includes a range of non-liquidity backed jackpot applications, including super jackpots, sports predictors, acquisition and retention campaign prize draws, and betting on lottery insurance.

“This is a breakthrough partnership for BlueRibbon, which will allow us to offer an holistic jackpot marketing solution for our partners and now also with insured jackpot,” said BlueRibbon co-founder and CEO Amir Askarov. “We believe it is another important brick in our platform which will assist our partners to take their player engagement to the next level, and deliver a truly thrilling and compelling experience across all game verticals while also providing peace of mind and security to online gambling operators and brands.”

RISQ director of business development Julian Borg-Barthet added: “The opportunity to integrate the iGiP with the BlueRibbon marketing platform gives BlueRibbon’s customers the ability to offer unprecedented jackpots of up to £25m.

“In turn, RISQ customers have easy access to a professional platform to deliver their insurance backed concepts, significantly shortening go-live timescales and dates, as well as working off a professional platform to scale up other concepts on the fly.”

The deal comes shortly after BlueRibbon completed its first funding round, with investment from Velo Capital Partners and Ash Gaming founder Chris Ash, as it looks to rapidly expand the scale and scope of its product and business.

Betsoft Gaming

Casino games developer Betsoft Gaming has agreed to integrate its portfolio of content with platform provider Soft2Bet.

Soft2Bet will directly integrate all Betsoft games, including its Slots3 series of slots, across ten online casino brands, reaching regulated markets throughout Europe and the Nordic countries.

The agreement also paves the way for further content integration over time, with operators such as Alf Casino and Campobet, poised to benefit from new Betsoft releases.

“Today, we are introducing a new brand approximately every three months, and we take great care to ensure that each of them has a unique look, feel, and market position,” said Soft2Bet CEO Boris Chaikin. “To support this extremely ambitious growth strategy, we work with content partners whose games have their own distinct personalities, who can manage direct integrations, and who have a reliable roadmap for the launch of more high-quality content for the foreseeable future. For these reasons and more, we predict a long and successful partnership with Betsoft.”
