MRG Group’s in-house development studio Green Jade Games has released its first slot title, Hammer of Fortune.

The 6x4 slot has gone live exclusively with MRG’s flagship brand Mr Green Casino, prior to a rollout to the wider market.

The game features Brin as the unlikely hero tasked with saving his village from Gunnhild and her rock troll army, and sees players move through the story to discover if Brin and his friends Papa, Astrid and their humorous horse Barrett can summon the knowledge, power and strength to defeat Gunnhild and save their homeland.

Hammer of Fortune features a personal hammer that changes with every spin and is used by the player to knock out symbols, which gives them a second chance at triggering cash pots and free spins.

"Hammer of Fortune is the ideal game to introduce Green Jade Games to the market,” said Green Jade Games managing director Benedict McDonagh. “With its focus on entertainment through storytelling, and player control through smashing symbols, we are proud of the high degree of quality and relevant differentiation achieved.”

“A focus on customer's changing needs is the critical element in defining the type of content we wish to deliver,” McDonagh added. “We recognise there is a significant opportunity to serve a broader playing audience with a new style of game content. Hammer of Fortune is the gateway into the future of gambling games.”

Mr Green head of casino Jacqui Gatt commented: “We are thrilled to have launched Green Jade Games, along with their first title, Hammer of Fortune at Mr Green.

“This 'first of its kind' completable state game definitely delivers the innovation, entertainment and engagement that we want to offer our players. We have already seen impressive results following release and we are excited to see more cutting edge content from our new partners in the future.”

Shares in Mr Green & Co AB (STO:MRG) were trading at SEK69.05 per share in Stockholm Tuesday morning, just off their 52-week high of SEK70.00 per share set on October 31st.
