ORYX Gaming / Videoslots

ORYX Gaming has agreed a deal to integrate a wide selection of its casino titles onto the Videoslots.com platform.

Accompanying ORYX’s games in the integration will be a selection of top-performing titles created in collaboration with Gamomat and Kalamba Games.

The integration includes Gamomat's new Crazy Chicken Shooter jackpot side game, an action-packed adventure based on the highly popular computer game from the early 2000s.

“Videoslots.com has a cracking offering of casino titles and our games will suit its platform perfectly as we add further fantastic content partners," said ORYX Gaming CEO Matevz Mazij.

Videoslots.com head of games William Ahlberg added: “We are delighted to be working with ORYX Gaming as we continue to grow our offering and further cement our position as the best."

Quickspin

Playtech’s Quickspin is readying the launch of its content in the re-regulated Swedish iGaming market, with a selection of games set to go live in January.

Licensed operators will have access to 30 of Quickspin’s most popular titles, including Sakura Fortune, Big Bad Wolf, Eastern Emeralds and Ivan and the Immortal King.

Swedish players will also have access to Quickspin’s bonus provisioning and features, including Achievements, Achievements Races, Tournaments and the newly launched Challenges.

Quickspin chief executive Daniel Lindberg said the move was one of the supplier’s most significant in recent times.

“Being one of the first slots to go live with Swedish players is incredibly exciting for us. As well as being our home market, we have been preparing for this opportunity with our operating partners – and are delighted to have first-mover advantage,” he said.

“We live and breathe slots and are especially proud of our Swedish origins. Our mission is to create games that players love, and we’re looking forward to bringing our games home as soon as the year begins.”

This week also saw Quickspin launch its latest loyalty tool, Quickspin Challenges. The customer retention tool enables an additional level of gameplay for players on top of Quickspin’s existing titles.

Challenges is a mini-game displayed on top of each slot, with the extra level of gameplay fuelled by the outcome of spins from the game below. The player’s aim is to guide an in-play character through a maze to a final prize, allowing participants to unlock prizes as the path through the maze is generated, even if they might not hit that final big win.

“We are absolutely delighted to launch Quickspin Challenges,” said Lindberg. “We’ve designed the retention tool to offer some extra excitement with our slots, and hope that it will give our players the chance to enjoy playing them that extra bit more.

“Challenges will add another layer of entertainment on top of your usual gaming experience. Gamification is the future of our industry, and we’re proud to be at the forefront of this trend. Stay tuned for lots more exciting developments from us in 2019.”

Challenges has been launched on Quickspin’s Dwarfs Gone Wild and Goldilocks games, and will soon be available on the supplier’s other titles.

High 5 Games

High 5 Games is also aiming to launch its games in Sweden on January 1st, with 15 titles set to go live.

High 5 Games said that it continues to actively develop regulated market opportunities, with Pennsylvania, Denmark, Spain and Italy in its sights for 2019.

"It’s very exciting also to have Ezugi’s unique games such as Unlimited 21 Blackjack, Knockout Baccarat and Casino Holdém. Blueprint Gaming’s Slots O’ Gold MegaWays

Blueprint Gaming has launched an enhanced version of its popular Slots O’ Gold title with the addition of Big Time Gaming’s Megaways mechanic.

The game includes all the well-known features of the original title, including the eye-catching six-reel mechanic that ensures an even bigger pot of gold can be found at the end of the rainbow.

All Rainbow Gold symbols within the game transform to reveal a random symbol, while the Leprechaun Wilds activates the Rainbow Respins round, with further wilds appearing to trigger extra respins.

“Following the huge success of Slots O’ Gold, we’re thrilled to have unveiled a new and improved version of this Irish-themed slot,” said Blueprint Gaming director of marketing and relationships Jo Purvis. “Integrating the highly popular MegaWays mechanic will give the game an added dimension and enhanced user experience, which we’re sure will appeal to fans of the original release, along with new players.”

There are also special expanding symbols on the Free Spins reels and players have the option to Buy Free Spins instead of waiting for the bonus feature to be triggered randomly.

“Egyptian themed slots are hugely popular with players, but with the Book of Cleopatra we have taken this theme and ramped up the excitement with two innovative bonus features,” said Stakelogic CEO Stephan van den Oetelaar. “These features put the power in the player’s hands and allow them to take more control over how and when they access the Free Spins bonus round as well as providing additional wagering opportunities.”

Betsoft Gaming has launched a seasonal winter-themed slot with the rollout of Yak, Yeti and Roll.

Set in the Arctic circle, Yak, Yeti and Roll invites players to join an Inuit inventor, known for his wild creations. Together with his long-suffering Yeti sidekick, they set out to traverse the wintry wastes in an ornate sled through the snow.

As the spiked wheel of the sled rolls over a gem, it is crushed into the snow and the player earns a prize from a pool containing instant cash, cumulative cascade multipliers, and free spins – with a maximum win of 200x their total bet.

In the game’s free spins feature, players can build up big reserves of free spins on the trail, add free-spin-specific multipliers, then also apply cascade multipliers. The game also includes the supplier’s feature-buy-in mechanic, allowing players to trigger free spins and improve their win potential on demand.

“Yak, Yeti and Roll is releasing at an exciting time,” said Annamaria Anastasi, marketing director for Betsoft. “Not tied to any particular celebration, the game is designed to evoke feelings of warmth in winter, which are common across the entire holiday season.

“We built that atmosphere with larger-than-life characters, jolly artwork, a wonderful soundtrack, and a clear paytable – creating a game with the broadest possible appeal for winter 2018/19 and beyond.

“At the same time, Yak, Yeti and Roll comes at a vital juncture for Betsoft, incorporating our full range of newly-developed proprietary technologies. We have also just released our genre-redefining Max Quest title, and Yak, Yeti and Roll demonstrates that, as well as introducing all-new experiences, we also lead the industry in character-driven traditional slots.”
