Red Tiger Gaming’s Thor’s Lightning

Red Tiger Gaming has launched its latest slot release, Thor’s Lightning.

The 7x7 title, set in the frozen wastes of Norse mythology, debuts with operator Betsson before being distributed across the network on 14 February 14.

It is Red Tiger’s first portrait-first slot, which the supplier said would allow for an enhanced player experience on mobile devices.

The game features nine locked tiles in the middle of the reels, which must be broken as players aim to unleash Valhalla or Muspell Free Spins.

If Valhalla Spins are activated, Golden Shields take the place of the locked tiles, and each shield reveals a stake multiplier. Muspell Spins, set in the Nordic land of fire, features two bonus modes, including Lava Showers, which destroy one or more types of symbol on the reels, or Lava Flow, which creates identical symbols on connected reels.

“Thor’s Lightning is one of the most inventive, immersive titles in our portfolio,” said Red Tiger Gaming director of business development Carl Ejlertsson. “With its exciting features, and an eye-catching setting that takes players on an engaging journey, it is set to be one of the headliners of our offering.

“We’ve made a real commitment to producing top-tier, mobile games, and Thor’s Lightning is no exception. It is our debut portrait-first slot game, and the great gameplay is possible due to the cutting-edge technology used in developing our content.”

Greentube’s Tidal Riches

Greentube has expanded its portfolio with the launch of its latest slot Tidal Riches.

The 20-line, 5-reel slot offers players the possibility to play on up to 50 lines and 6 reels, with the underwater action prolonged even further by activating the slot’s extra features.

The aim of Tidal Riches in the main game is to line up 5 identical symbols next to each other from left to right across 20 win lines. The Wild symbol substitutes for all other symbols. Additional win lines are added with every winning combination until a maximum of 50 win lines are active.

Each win lights up an arrow on the Arrow Trail, increasing the active playing field. Collecting 4 arrows triggers 5 Free Games with Treasure Chest Symbols that improve winning chances, and a new Arrow Trail begins. Lighting up 4, 5, 6 or 7 arrows awards the player 4, 6, 8 or 10 additional Free Games.

Lightning Box’s Chicken Fox

Lightning Box has launched its latest slot title Chicken Fox with Kindred Group’s Unibet brand.

The 3x5 reel slot, staged inside a cash-strewn hen house, features every farmer’s worst nightmare, a fox among the fowl. Members of the yard fill the reels, from a wise old goat to the apple-pie cooking farmer’s wife.

The new game is now live on an exclusive basis with Unibet, before general European release across the supplier’s network of operator partners on 20 February.

“We’re thrilled to release our latest title, Chicken Fox, which should cause a bit of a flap,” said Lightning Box CEO and co-founder Peter Causley. “Its comically dark theme will have players chasing chickens up and down the reels.

“It’s fun features and easy gameplay are what they have come to expect from Lightning Box, and we’re eager to hear their feedback from our latest creation.”

Chicken Fox’s bonus feature is based on a fox catching chickens that can award up to 66x per symbol. The fox can also catch eggs that can add further free games, causing massive wins.

“We’re very excited about getting our hands on Chicken Fox first and hope it will be a great performer for us like the rest of Lightning Box’s portfolio,” said Unibet head of casino David Robertson.

Genius Tech Group / DraftKings

Genius Tech Group (GTG) has partnered with DraftKings to launch its American football-themed Squares game ahead of this weekend’s Super Bowl LIII.

The free-to-play game has been rolled out on DraftKings’ fantasy and sportsbook platforms, and is based on the Squares game concept familiar to American football parties with contestants not requiring any betting knowledge to participate.

Contestants pick squares from a grid randomly numbered from 0-9 whereby the numbers relate to the last digit of the score for each team at the end of each quarter. If the numbers of a cell match the final digit of a team’s score at the end of a quarter, that is the winning square.

GTG has been working with the DraftKings sportsbook since August when the operator began offering GTG’s flagship iSport Genius data product.

“We are very pleased to have secured another deal with DraftKings,” said Genius Tech Group co-founder and partner Nathan Rothschild. “We have already built a successful relationship through our iSport Genius product, and this is a further investment in our partnership.

“DraftKings is a truly innovative group and they understand the potential of our free-to-play games to deliver mass acquisition.”
