Blueprint Gaming’s Lightning Strike Megaways
Blueprint Gaming is leading players to experience the power of the gods in the mythical land of Asgard with its latest release Lightning Strike Megaways.
The game sees Thor wield his mighty war hammer Mjölnir across the reels, which expand into stacked wilds and activate the Lightning Strike respin mode.
The gameplay features a variety of symbols inspired by Norse mythology, including the mythical tree of Yggdrasil, which when visible reveals a mystery symbol and increases the chances of winning.
The Mega Spins Exchange feature sees players enter the pie wheel gamble with any win of 5x bet or higher, where they prey the gods have mercy to increase their cash winnings or exchange for Mega Spins featuring Mega enriched reels.
The Scandinavian mythology-themed game is the latest Blueprint title to feature the Megaways mechanic, which is under license from Big Time Gaming, winner of the Gaming Intelligence 2019 One to Watch Supplier Award. Blueprint Gaming was awarded the Game of the Year title.
“Our spectacular new release is set to provide huge wins for players who dare to take on the gods of Asgard and strike lucky,” said Blueprint Gaming director of marketing and relationships Jo Purvis, who was named in the Gaming Intelligence HOT 50 of 2019.
“With a popular theme to the game, accompanied with highly-engaging mechanics, we’re sure Lightning Strike Megaways will be an attractive proposition for players across Europe and beyond.”

Kalamba Games’ Desert Gem
Kalamba Games has expanded its slot portfolio with the launch of Desert Gem, which will be exclusively distributed on Oryx Gaming’s platform.
The 4x5 video slot takes players on a treasure hunt for gold and gems that unlock bonus rounds, free spins and bonus jackpots. Set in a desert landscape, the game offers in-game features taking players on a quest for hidden gems, additional free spins and wild multipliers.
The game incorporates the popular HyperBet feature enabling players to adjust game volatility and win potential by setting the number of gold symbols in the reels. Selecting more gold symbols increases the probability of hitting bonus jackpots and increases pay line pay-outs.
Multi-layered symbol collection mechanics enable players to decide whether to play bonus rounds at bronze, silver, gold and platinum levels for ever increasing win potential and match their play style with risk appetite.
“With volatile game play cloaked in a fun and funky treasure hunt theme, Desert Gem applies many proven engaging in-game mechanics that players have come to expect from Kalamba Games,” said Kalamba Games chief operating officer and co-founder Alex Cohen.
