Isle of Man-based supplier Microgaming has paid out more than €13.7m in the past week to two jackpot winners on its Mega Moolah slot game.

The jackpots were both won on online casino sites operated by Casino Rewards, with a €11.5m jackpot hit last Tuesday, followed by a €2.2m jackpot win a day later which was triggered within 33 bets of the player registering with the casino that day.

The €11.5m payout is the fourth largest on Microgaming’s progressive jackpot network, following the €13.3m win earlier this year on Zodiac Casino, the €18.9m paid last September to another Casino Rewards site, and the €17.9m jackpot on Betway which earned Microgaming a Guinness World Records title in 2015.

“Mega Moolah strikes yet again,” said Microgaming games publisher David Reynolds. “Microgaming continues to lead the way with more life-changing wins on the network.

“The fact that these two millionaires were made on consecutive days really demonstrates the strength and popularity of our world-famous Mega Moolah slot.”

Casino Rewards’ Emma Hall added: “Congratulations to our winners from everyone at the Casino Rewards team. We are absolutely delighted to see another two lucky players scoop seven and eight-figure sums on the massive Mega Moolah progressive jackpot – what a victory. To make three multimillionaires in as many months – two of them within 48 hours – is beyond anything we could have imagined.”
