Spain’s Council of Ministers has approved the country’s draft gaming bill for submission to Parliament following a brief period of public consultation which ended on January 11th.

The bill will for the first time regulate online gaming activities in the Spanish market, establishing the regulatory framework at a national level to provide legal security for operators and increased protection for consumers.
