The French online gaming industry association AFJEL has this week published a white paper for the consideration of authorities engaged in the review of France’s online gaming legislation.

The law of May 12th 2010 which partially liberalised the French online gaming market provided for a review of the law within 18 months of enactment. In order to aid this review, the AFJEL white paper  presents an analysis of the current market situation, which the association says should be taken into consideration by the authorities in order to reduce tax evasion connected to the illegal market and to rectify issues which have hampered the development of the sector.
