Interactive gaming solutions provider Genera Networks and Norwegian state-lottery operator Norsk Tipping have been cleared of charges of plagiarism by a court in Norway following a legal challenge by Postcode Lottery operator Novamedia.
Novamedia, which operates the Postcode Lottery in the Netherlands, Sweden and the UK, had initiated legal proceedings against the two companies, alleging that Norsk Tipping’s new lottery product Nabolaget infringed on the company’s rights by plagiarising its location based game.
