While less than half of Spain’s licensed online gaming sites have gone live since the start of the new licensing regime on June 1st, the country’s gambling regulator has wasted no time in pursuing unlicensed operators who continue to serve the market.

Spain’s Dirección General de Ordenación del Juego (DOGJ) says that it has identified an initial 80 site which it suspects of having significant unlicensed operations in the Spanish market.
