The chief executive of the Kentucky Lottery, Arthur Gleason, has joined the chorus of disapproval over the proposed Reid/Kyl federal online gambling bill, urging Kentucky Senator Mitch McConnell to oppose the legislation which he describes as ill-advised and contrary to the interests of the state and its residents.

In a letter to Senator McConnell dated November 2nd, Gleason states that based on the summary of the legislation, it appears designed to benefit the state of Nevada and the casino industry, at the expense of the state lottery.
