The Remote Gambling Association (RGA) has said that it will seek to mount a legal challenge to recently introduced enforcement measures against online gaming operators by the Greek government, which it describes as protectionist measures designed to benefit incumbent monopoly operator OPAP.
It follows the Greek government’s publication of what the RGA calls “anti-online gambling regulations” which impose fined and other sanctions on operators, internet service providers, media companies, financial institutions and Greek consumers.
