The World Trade Organisation (WTO) has authorised the Caribbean nation of Antigua and Barbuda to suspend its obligations to the United States in respect of intellectual property rights.

Monday’s decision by the WTO follows Antigua and Barbuda’s decade-long fight for justice against the United States, which was found to have breached its free-trade obligations by prohibiting Antiguan licensed online gaming operators from offering their services in the US.
