Three Connecticut residents, two of which are alleged associates of the Gambino organized crime family, have pleaded guilty to their involvement in an illegal online sports betting operation.

The guilty pleas follow last year’s indictment by a federal jury against twenty individuals who were involved in the operation of online sports betting websites, including Costa Rica-based 44Wager.com.
