The British government published its proposed new Gambling Bill Friday, which will require remote gambling operators to be licensed by the Gambling Commission in order to serve British consumers.
The Gambling (Licensing and Advertising) Bill (HC Bill 8) amends the Gambling Act of 2005 by requiring all British-facing remote gambling operators to hold a licence from the Gambling Commission, irrespective of where gambling facilities (equipment) are located.
