Two Connecticut residents face a maximum jail sentence of twenty years after pleading guilty to their involvement in an organized-crime controlled illegal online sports betting operation.

Joseph Borea pleaded guilty before US District Judge Vanessa L Bryant, while Richard Uva pleaded guilty before US Magistrate Judge Thomas P. Smith.

Both men admitting to one count of conspiring to violate the federal Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) Act stemming from their involvement in an organized-crime controlled gambling businesses.
