Two more defendants have pled guilty in Manhattan federal court for their respective roles in operating an illegal high stakes poker and online sportsbook business connected to organized crime enterprises in New York.
Edwin Ting pled guilty before US District Court Judge Jesse Furman to conducting an illegal gambling business, an illegal poker game, while Justin Smith pled guilty before Judge Furman to accepting a financial instrument in connection with unlawful internet gambling, an illegal sportsbook.
